Justine Holt studied art at Berkshire College of Art and Design and Kent Institute of Art and Design, graduating in Fine Art in 1993.

She has also travelled extensively in India, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Nepal collecting, drawing and photographing material for her work, some of which is held in private collections in the U.S.A, Canada, Italy and The Philippines.
